Thomas and Maupin Promoted to Senior Vice President at Graebel

(Aurora, CO)  -  Relocation industry leader, Graebel, has appointed Jennifer Thomas and Debbie Maupin to senior vice president at Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc.   Both report to president of the global relocation division and chief operating officer of the Graebel Companies, Inc., Tim Callahan.

Joining Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide in September 2009 as vice president international assignment services, Jennifer Thomas has twenty-five years of global relocation experience.  Thomas was senior vice president of international sales at Cartus, a leading relocation management company, and was responsible for business development among the Fortune 500 in the EMEA and APAC regions. Her extensive relocation background in international operations and client development includes managing director and vice president of that organization’s Singapore operations.  Academically, Thomas studied at Syracuse University, Western Connecticut State University, and Fairfield University.   Thomas holds the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC) Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP) designation, is a recipient of the ERC Meritorious Service award, and is a sought after speaker and panelist at industry conferences.  Additionally, Thomas served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement in Connecticut and Women Against Violence Everywhere (WAVE).  Thomas is based out of the Graebel World Headquarters in Denver, Colo.

Twenty-five year relocation industry veteran and with Graebel Relocation since 2005, Debbie Maupin was promoted from vice president to senior vice president of operations.  Maupin’s relocation background is diverse and spans household goods transportation, logistics, commercial services and relocation service management.  She will continue to be based at the Company’s Atlanta, Georgia full-service relocation center.  It was there, that her leadership led to strong year-over-year profitable growth and a 30-percent increase in overall revenue. This outstanding growth also contributed to career-path opportunities for Maupin’s staff that increased by nearly 50-percent since she joined Graebel and resulted in relocating this staff in early 2008 to a new, expanded relocation customer service center in Alpharetta, GA.

 

Previously, Maupin was vice president business development at SIRVA.  She was also vice president at North American Logistics and held executive positions at the Beltmann Group and Burnham, Inc.  Additionally, Maupin owned and managed a warehouse and transportation company, Blair North American, for 10 years in Florida.  She holds a master’s in business administration from Georgia State University, an AAS degree in business and political science from Niagara College, and is a certified paralegal in corporate and real estate law from the University of San Diego.  Maupin is a Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC) Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP) and a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professions® (CSCMP).  Previously, she served on the SIRVA Executive Committee, was an officer on the Board of Altrusa International, Sarasota, Fla., chapter, and board member on the Economic Development Council for Sarasota County in Florida.  Maupin was honored by the AAUW with its Leadership Award for Women in Business.
