(Aurora, COLO) - In an announcement from the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) member services, Jen Ayres, stated, "Congratulations to Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc. for being announced the Runner-Up for Relocation Management Company and for Graebel Movers International, Inc., being named the highly commended nominee for International Moving Company of the 2011 EMMAs! This is a fantastic achievement." 2011 marked the first-time that two of the Graebel Companies' divisions, Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc., and Graebel Movers International, Inc., have participated in the EMMA awards. Nominees from around the world gathered at the FEM gala dinner and awards ceremony that was held in Chicago, Illinois recently.
The annual EMMA awards provide relocation suppliers and corporations with global mobility programs with the opportunity to separately participate in different award categories. These categories include seven supplier and ten individual corporate categories along with five more classifications that are open to both suppliers and global mobility buyers alike. Companies that participated in the twenty-two categories furnished answers to the FEM questions in a no more than two-page synopsis with up to three additional one-page supporting documents for each category. Short-list nominees were required to solicit testimonials for the FEM panel of judges' final evaluation.
Graebel Companies, Inc., chief executive officer, Bill Graebel shared, "The FEM organization has quickly carved a unique niche in our industry and our organization is proud that two of our divisions performed highly in their first-EMMA entries. In addition to the EMMA results, 2011 has marked the second consecutive year that Graebel has earned first-place in the "HRO Today" Relocation Baker's Dozen. Baker’s Dozen rankings are determined in a confidential, unbiased survey among the Fortune 500 that is performed by the publication. Additionally, for the seventeenth straight year Graebel has achieved the Platinum award from the Overseas Movers Network International (OMNI)."
"We are genuinely honored and humbled to have received these and other honors such as the Energy Star rating at our World Headquarters in 2011. Indeed, our 60-plus year mission has focused on providing cost-efficient and effective services of the highest calibre to everyone we serve. In today’s economy perhaps more than ever, clients vote with their check-books, therefore I am pleased to report that Graebel is on record pace to break our more six decade old business records companywide this year, too," concluded Graebel.
Over 200 nominations in the twenty-two categories were received in 2011 and according to Brian Friedman, founder and chief executive officer at FEM, “We were quite simply blown away by the sheer volume and quality of the EMMA nominations this year. The global mobility profession has taken the EMMAs to its heart and the level of excitement and anticipation about winning an EMMA is truly incredible”.
