(Houston, TX) -  At a recent management meeting at the Graebel Companies, Inc. World Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, Greg Cutlip named four people to general manager roles in the Graebel Movers, Inc., Texas and Oklahoma centers.  Additionally, Cutlip redefined the moving and storage division’s regions and tasked eleven general managers to regional operations and management roles.  This redefinition follows the recent appointment of Cutlip to President, Graebel Movers, Inc.

Dan Tanner, formerly Assistant General Manager at Graebel Houston Movers, Inc., was promoted to general manager at Graebel Houston’s center.  Previously, Cutlip was general manager and senior vice president at this center.  In 1984, Tanner began his career as a management trainee with a Dallas-based firm.  There, positions held were office manager, operations manager, general manager and vice president.  In 1998, he relocated to Houston becoming the Graebel Houston branch controller and, in recent years added the Graebel of Texas intrastate authority responsibilities to his duties as well as, this center’s domestic and international household goods moving and storage operations.

12-year Company employee, Mark Frazier was appointed general manager from sales manager at the Graebel Dallas, Texas moving and storage center.  Frazier’s career began in the Tulsa, Oklahoma center and at this Graebel office he was promoted to its national account sales manager.  His national account sales success led to business development stints in the Graebel Arkansas and Nebraska centers.  Just prior to his return to the Dallas/Fort Worth market, Frazier was general manager of the Graebel moving and storage center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Also promoted to general manager, Dan Dailey, will now lead the Graebel San Antonio moving and storage center.  Dailey is a 25-year moving services veteran.  Daily’s Graebel career spans 22-years with Graebel in management roles spanning operations and customer service supervision at the Company’s Houston center.   In recent years Dailey relocated to San Antonio as its Operations and Branch Manager.  He is actively involved in the San Antonio community including the Rotary club, and various philanthropic organizations such as the Trailblazers, the charity-based arm of the energy company, Valero, the Texas Open PGA Tour event and the Boy Scouts of America Alamo area council.

After starting with Graebel in 2002 as a summer intern then management trainee, Josh Mahaffey chose a career in the relocation and moving industry.  Cutlip promoted Mahaffey to general manager, Graebel Oklahoma Movers, Inc., a past four time moving and storage center Company of the Year award winner at Graebel Movers, Inc.  This appointment to general manager is evidence of the Company’s management trainee career-track system.    In his seven years with the firm, Mahaffey has also worked at the Company’s Arkansas center.  Mahaffey has held continuing roles of responsibility such as operations managers, branch manager and, assistant general manager.  Mahaffey holds a Oklahoma Christian University baccalaureate degree in business management and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.  Mahaffey succeeds Rick Humphreys, who has accepted an account development executive leadership at the World Headquarters.

New regional responsibilities were unveiled by Cutlip and are as follows:

Region 1 – Dobby Dobson, regional manager of the U.S. northeastern seaboard and the mid-atlantic region.
