MILESKI JOINS GRAEBEL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM IN U.S.

(Aurora, COLO) – Graebel Movers, Inc., announced that Alan Mileski has joined the organization as its vice president of business development. Reporting to chief operating officer, Mr. Tim Callahan, Mileski will be accountable for national account, U.S. military and government services household goods business development. 

 

Mileski’s forty year moving industry career began at Nelson Westerberg in 1971.  After twelve months as its residential sales representative in Chicago, Illinois the company promoted him to vice president and general manager and transferred Mileski to New Jersey to open and manage their first branch operation.  Following his development of the Nelson Westerberg international subsidiary, Mileski was elevated to president of the international division then president of the company’s domestic agency group before leaving that organization in 2000.

 

2001 to 2003, Mileski became president and chief executive officer at Ace World Wide Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was responsible for the development and direction of that company’s sixteen moving and storage agencies, industrial park management, and distribution and warehousing for its logistical transportation. 

 

More recently, Mileski was president and principal at Rocky Mountain Transfer in Denver, Colorado.  At Rocky Mountain Transfer his focus was on acquisitions and operations of movers to serve residential consumers, government services agencies and the Department of Defense moving and storage needs.  There, he also was involved in the business development of the intra-Alaska and lower 48 moving services for Hi-Line.

 

Alan Mileski is a past board member of the American Moving and Storage Association® (AMSA).  Other association memberships include the International Association of Movers®, Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC) and the International Society of Human Resource Management® (I-SHRM).  Additionally, he is a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force.  

 

Mileski is based in the Chicago service center, Graebel American Movers, Inc., located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
