(Aurora, CO) - Tim Callahan, chief operating officer Graebel Companies, Inc., and president of Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc., announced Kathy Hedley joined the national account business development team as its vice president. Based in Ohio, Hedley will lead the eastern regional sales activities for the Company’s global full-service relocation and moving and storage service lines. Additionally, George Bates and Pam Capecci have been promoted to the business development team. This team will be responsible for leading the organization’s worldwide sales to corporate clients.
With SIRVA from 1996 until early 2009, Hedley rose in its ranks from director client development then director business development to vice president, sales manager client development; and, vice president sales manager. In her last role there, Hedley was vice president client relations manager. She was honored with that organization’s Sales Masters’ and Individual CEO Leadership awards. More recently, Hedley was senior vice president sales for the corporate sales group at Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services.
“Kathy’s work ethic, drive and leadership have already made a huge impact in the short time that she’s been onboard. I am pleased to have Kathy as our eastern regional sales leader accountable for business development activities in twenty three states from Florida to Maine, “shared Callahan.
Promoted to vice president regional sales leader, George Bates has been here since 2006. Previously, Bates was vice president of business development at SIRVA. Recently, HRO magazine recognized Bates among its HRO Super Stars for innovations introduced to the marketplace and for assisting companies in the Fortune 100 in developing programs that measure and manage a variety of outsourced relocation services. Bates has led the Company’s regional round tables conducted from coast to coast and the Graebel University annual relocation policy summit. Based in Seattle, Washington, Bates will be responsible for sales leadership in eleven states on the west coast, rocky mountain region. This month, he was bestowed the 2009 President’s award for move management sales leadership at the annual Graebel leadership conference in Denver.
Twenty-four year moving industry veteran Pam Capecci joined Graebel in June 2009 and was recently promoted to vice president regional sales leader. Previously, Capecci was instrumental in building the national account business at the Beltmann Group. There, she focused on new corporate-based business and client development in the metro Chicago and Minneapolis/St. Paul markets for nineteen years as director of national accounts. Her office will continue to be in Chicago, Illinois with sales responsibilities for fourteen central regional states from Minnesota to Texas. Capecci holds a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) certification from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council.
