(Aurora, CO) - This week, the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC) will distribute its much anticipated survey the 2009 Relocation Assistance:  Transferred Employees Survey Report.   Graebel Companies, Inc., became the first-time and exclusive sponsor of this survey.

The Relocation Assistance survey is a comprehensive research report with an in-depth analysis of the current trends in corporate relocation assistance programs for employees transferred domestically within the U.S.  This study provides benchmarking data on current practices, programs and reveals trends in tiered policies, cost-of-living assistance, loss-on-sale assistance, household goods shipping, home-marketing assistance, temporary living, and other highly relevant details concerning relocation events.

According to Bill Graebel, CEO, “Our organization prides itself in providing ongoing education and sharing trends with our clientele, employees and global supply chain.  Sponsoring this educational survey perfectly matched this philosophy because it is a resource tool designed to assist mobility and HR professionals in their decision-making process regarding the management of their mobility/relocation programs, policies, and contracts. “

The Relocation Assistance survey is conducted approximately every 3 years, with the last this survey completed in 2004.  162 Worldwide ERC corporate and government members participated in this comprehensive project.  More than 42,000 people were relocated by these participants during 2008, making statistical findings valuable to companies comparing relocation benefits and policies to industry average.

This week, the Graebel-sponsored relocation survey will be distributed by Worldwide ERC to all corporate and government human resource members responsible for the management of workforce mobility programs and contracts for their organizations.  Copies will be available for purchase to members and the public from the Worldwide ERC website, and at ERC conferences for the next two years.  For additional information about this release contact Graebel, or visit the Worldwide ERC newsroom.
