Graebel Relocation Appoints Deborah Marrs to Director Business Development

(Aurora, COLO) – George Bates, vice president and regional sales leader for Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc., announced Deborah Marrs has joined the organization’s business development team June 1, 2010. 

 

Marrs comes to the global mobility leader, Graebel, after a seven year stint at the publicly traded staffing company, CLP Resources, Inc. – A True Blue Company (NYSE:  TBI).  There, Marrs was its director of national strategic accounts and previously director, facilities business development.  She was responsible for setting and achieving CLP Resources’ national strategic account sales goal along with hiring account managers in this program. Marrs was recognized as the CLP Resources’ salesperson of the year in 2007 and 2008 after bringing onboard what was at the time the largest account in its history and for her sales team growing revenue to $11.3 million in one year. 

 

Previously, Marrs was employed at Major, Lindsey & Africa, an attorney search firm; Hall-Kinion, a staffing firm in the technology sector; SDI Capital, Inc., a finance company that specializes in leased equipment; and ChoicePoint,  Inc.a technology supplier focused on fraud and risk mitigation service.

 

According to Graebel vice president Bates, “Deborah’s nine year business development background at some of the leading staffing organizations has provided her with a special understanding and empathy about corporations’ global mobility and talent management issues and expectations with suppliers. At CLP Resources, Deborah was among the top sales people and she was responsible for 100-percent retention of that organization’s key clientele.  This experience will serve her well as Deborah fosters new relationships with Fortune 500 relocation decision-makers. “ 

 

“Based in Irvine, California Deborah will be accountable for the development of new full-service relocation and move management clientele for Graebel in southern California and part of the Bay area, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico. “

 

Marrs studied at the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
