(Lisbon, Portugal) – This month, Graebel Movers International, Inc., has been cited by the Fédération International des Déménageurs Internationaux (FIDI) with its Gold Career Certificate during that organization’s annual conference held this year in Lisbon, Portugal. Ernst Jőrg, dean of the FIDI Academy presented the Gold Career Certificate to Jim Petzel, president of Graebel Movers International, Inc.
The FIDI Academy Gold Career certificate is bestowed annually onto a single international removals company. Graebel, a multi-decade FIDI member and multi-year supporter of the FIDI Academy, has ensured that its global workforce is educated and certified to perform world-class removals and storage services for its Fortune 500 clientele. For instance, Graebel staff members helped to organize relocation industry speakers and local tours for the FIDI Academy training and certification program that was held at the Graebel World Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, USA last fall. The week long comprehensive and certification testing program is available to the FIDI membership around the world. In 2010, as in prior years one-hundred percent of the Graebel employees that participated in this intensive training were certified.
“Graebel has had nine consecutive months of double-digit growth, because as the economy has shown signs of improvement our longtime clients are moving their employees to literally every continent. This along with signing more than eighty new multi-year and high-volume customers in 2010 has Graebel on-track for a record-breaking year. Year-to-date all of our six Graebel relocation and moving divisions are out-performing the prior year and Graebel Movers International business has increased 36-percent from a year earlier,” stated Petzel.
“For over 60-years Graebel has continuously invested in its people to ensure service excellence for our clients. By ensuring that our employees are background screened, customer-centric focused, and their training and certification includes the FIDI Academy are prime examples of the measures taken by Graebel to delight customers,“ concluded Petzel.
