 AURORA, COLO. (April 19, 2010) — Graebel Movers International, Inc., a division of the Graebel Companies, Inc., recently announced the promotions of Franco Millunzi and Kari Garcia as the vice president of network services and the director of quality systems, respectively. Both will report directly to Jim Petzel, President of Graebel Movers International.


As vice president of network services, Franco Millunzi is responsible for overseeing development of the Graebel global supply chain network and the global brand. With Graebel for over one year, Millunzi’s international relocation experience extends over 23 years with some of the leading companies in the industry. His background includes work in frontline operations, operations management, network development, and sales and account management for Fortune 250 clients. Additionally, Millunzi was responsible for these organizations’ U.S. suppliers and overseas agents’ performance and cost initiatives. He holds multiple certifications including a bachelor’s degree in international business from Elmhurst College and a Six Sigma certification from Sigma Breakthrough Technologies, Inc.®


Kari Garcia’s primary responsibility as director of quality systems is to ensure that Graebel continues to expand its FIDI-FAIM, ISO, C-TPAT, and TRACE certifications. Garcia began her career 25 years ago as a household goods mover. She has been with Graebel for the last 19 years, most recently as the director of the International Valuation Department. With Graebel, she developed the Graebel Los Angeles, CA cargo claim program and user-friendly international claims process and management program. She is also responsible for developing Graebel’s international valuation program, the Graebel International Qualified Mover (IQM), and the IQM crew incentive programs. Garcia is certified as an ISO lead auditor.
