GRAEBEL HELPS 90 BOY SCOUTS FROM DENVER TROOP EARN TRANSPORTATION MERIT BADGE

(Aurora, COLO)  -  Graebel Denver Movers, Inc. hosted a transportation merit badge workshop for the Boy Scouts of America, Denver Area Council on Saturday, March 3rd.  90 scouts gathered at the Graebel center in Aurora, Colorado tour the moving and storage facility and to participate in workshops to meet a merit badge requirements. Each scout learned the important role that trucks have in the movement of household goods, safe-driving rules, vehicular maintenance and career opportunities in the transportation industry.

 

Connie Stieber, Operations Manager of Graebel Denver Movers, Inc. stated, “Graebel employees from Graebel Movers, Inc., Graebel Van Lines, Inc., and our World Headquarters located on the same campus as Graebel Denver Movers, Inc. dedicated their Saturday to help the Scouts earn their badges. Most were Scouts, and in some cases earned Eagle Scout designations or have been troop leaders for their children. People from our Graebel Van Lines Central Dispatch, the Safety and Risk and Human Resources departments participated. Saturday was the third time that Graebel has sponsored this informative event for the Boy Scouts and we look forward to our fourth this fall.”
