Graebel announced the winners of its annual Driver of the Year award this week: long haul drivers Tim and Lisa Shebelski of Mosinee, WI. The Driver of the Year award is the highest recognition in Graebel’s All Star Fleet® program, which each year recognizes long and short haul Graebel drivers for their professionalism, customer service, dedication, and performance.
The Shebelskis are two-time Driver of the Year winners, having been first honored with the award in 2003. They have also won several other All Star Fleet awards during their eight years with Graebel. The couple, who have been married for 22 years, logged more than 85,000 miles last year assisting 90 clients.
“Tim and Lisa are definitely a class act,” said Ann Vesper, Graebel Operations Manager. “They are dedicated professionals who put customers first and exceed all expectations. We are proud of their accomplishments and are honored to have them in our fleet.”
Of their success, The Shebelskis said, “We absolutely love what we do. Our goal is to be consistent, treating everyone with respect. This is the Graebel way. We approach each job with this mindset, and we know many of our fellow drivers do the same.”
In addition to the Driver of the Year, this year’s All Star Fleet honors nine other Top 10 winners, as well as 235 drivers and terminal service agents, as the best of the best. Drivers are selected for Graebel All Star Fleet honors based on a number of criteria, including customer service scores, claims ratios and safety record. The most important customer service metric is the Graebel Proactive Quality Control (PQC) score. PQC metrics are generated from surveys completed by relocated employees following every move and measure all aspects of the relocation, including the driver’s professionalism and service delivery.
“The men and women who drive for Graebel are the ambassadors who put our commitment of unparallel service excellence into action,” said Craig Broback, President of Graebel Van Lines, Inc. and Graebel Movers, Inc. “These exceptional people deliver the industry’s best service, and bring to each move their years of experience, customer service skills and integrity. And unlike many other industries, they do so 300 days or more a year.”
