(Aurora, COLO) – This week, Bill Graebel SGMS chief executive officer of The Graebel Companies, Inc. has announced the re-alignment at the global mobility organization and its senior executive leadership team. With double-digit, year-over-year organic growth since 2009 and a rapidly growing client portfolio, this change will accelerate the advancement of the Company’s single source solution model in global relocation, move management, transportation, logistics, office moving and workplace and services. Graebel highlighted this progressive organization shift during the annual management conference at the Company’s world headquarters that are located in Denver, Colorado.
According to Graebel, “Our restructuring initiative is deliberately designed to be the most intuitive and customer-centric service model in our industry around the world. As the industry’s bona fide single source solution, this model will deliver exceptional results for our clients and opportunities for our people. ”
The hyper-growth, privately-held Company will transform from 6 divisions to 4 customer-centric service entities in the next stage of the six decade old Graebel organization, and will be effective immediately.
Ø A Global Mobility group will align resources within two divisions: Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc. and Graebel Movers International, Inc. Tim Callahan will lead the Global Mobility group which has 5 in-theatre management centers that are located in Singapore, the Czech Republic, China, and in the United States. Expansion of this global footprint is planned. The transformation of these two divisions will be seamless to its Fortune 1000 clients and to suppliers in the Graebel network that perform on-the-ground services in 153 countries.
Ø The second shift will bring under one umbrella the Company’s transportation services which span commercial cargo freight forwarding and logistics, Move Management, Inc., Graebel | CONNECT™, and Graebel Van Lines, Inc. Reporting to Jim Petzel this united domestic transportation and global move management and logistics team will be accountable for business development; and, the sourcing, negotiation, continuous performance assessment, and the management of transportation modal suppliers in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Ø The U.S.-based moving and storage operation, Graebel Movers, Inc., will continue to report to Greg Cutlip. He has been commissioned with the sales, customer service and performance management of this group’s residential and corporate household goods’ origin, destination terminal and storage services in the lower-48 states; local and intra-state hauling along with local market commercial office moving services.
Ø To better align with its marquee commercial clients with a countrywide footprint Graebel Commercial Services has been re-engineered. This group will be responsible for office relocation and workplace services for national commercial real estate and management clients, and for firms in the financial, hospitality and healthcare industries. Reporting to Scott Snead, a team of fifty specialists in commercial services will be answerable for sales, and the management of the Company’s service standards among its commercial supply chain network.
Graebel concluded, “Every successful company has undergone transformation to evolve. We have shifted gears to more effectively tap our resources. In keeping with our customer-first premise of ‘what do you need, how can we help?’ I have challenged everyone to anticipate, to focus on and to uncover new transformative solutions for our clients’ changing mobility programs. Our single source, high-quality mobility and transportation model brings with it bundled pricing for added value that is more pertinent than ever, as companies acquire others or set into motion their aggressive near-shore, re-shore and off-shore expansion strategies.”
Led by our highly-effective executives the amelioration to four-focused entities will bring an incalculable level of business intelligence, velocity of communication and value for our clients. Our change will be a game-changer for every Fortune 1000 company that is looking for an easy-to-engage partner that will deliver dependable world-class relocation and mobility services on every continent.”
