Amen to Graebel. Moving a church is a unique experience. It is a spiritual home for hundreds as well as a sacred space for the baptism of infants, the beginnings of families in marriage, the final farewells at funerals. The pews have witnessed countless prayers and bear the marks of many years. As much as we are emotionally attached to our furniture in our homes, there is a depth of emotion connected with the altar where we prepare communion, the candles we light each Sunday, and all of the other hallmarks of our worship experiences together.
It is also a logistical nightmare. Moving the 'stuff' of generations and making the complicated decisions of what to keep, what to store, and what to throw away becomes even more complicated in a tight-knit community like ours. This isn't something a church does often.
So, when your crew arrived with moving vans and furniture blankets I was so relieved to find them to be a group of respectful, cheerful, and helpful gentlemen. Honestly, working with Graebel has been a great experience from the first day."
Angela Nickerson, Director of Congregational Discipleship, St. John's Lutheran Church
Hi I am the admin. for this move and just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the team you sent to help facilitate this move. They were a great bunch, in particular Frankie Campos, Michael Heck, and Mike Stewart - those gentlemen went above and beyond the call in helping us and I just can't say enough great things about them. They were courteous, helpful, and instrumental in making a very stressful situation a pleasure if not for them I probably would be on medical leave this week. Thank you again for sending them they are truly an major league team.
In grateful appreciation.
