Then this position is for you!  We are currently seeking a full-time Claims Coordinator position within our Claims Department in our Wausau, WI location!

Job Summary:

·         Responsible for the full investigation of claims presented onto Graebel from transferees and/or associated parties while ensuring that the level of communication throughout the process reflects an optimal level of customer service for both external and internal customers. 

·         Determines the degree of liability and negotiates settlement with claimant directly while adhering to company’s policies and procedures, as well as contractual and federal regulations. 

·         Maintains current, accurate, and thorough file information to assist in inquiries and assignment of financial responsibility to appropriate parties. 

·         Position is primarily responsible for the settling of claims with an enhanced severity level, of which the level of severity is defined by business trends and/or needs.

Skills and Abilities:

Candidates must have proficient technical knowledge, understanding, and training of job requirements as gained through a high school education and relevant college credits.  Three to five years experience working in a Customer Service or Claims arena.  Candidates must also possess experience with computers and office equipment and efficient calculator and computer keying skills in order to input information with minimal errors.  Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and timely, either verbally or in writing, at all levels of the organization, the ability to be accurate, organized, and attend to multiple tasks are also required.
