Then this position is for you!  We are currently seeking a full-time Internal Auditor position within our Audit Department in our Wausau, WI location!

Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

·        Provides a wide range of financial, compliance, and operational audits.

·        Conducts investigative activities through data collection, data analysis, audit interviews, and reviews of various internal control structures to provide risk assessments to isolate control deficiencies and business advisory service to our financial and operational community.

·        Provides Management, the Board of Directors, and External Auditors an independent, objective, and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the companies overall operation.

·        Provides a review of compliance with the standards and the Internal Audit Code of Ethics (integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency) to assure the group’s activities are producing adequate results in hitting the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of Management.

Skills and Abilities:

Candidates must have proficient technical skills in accounting and auditing, as well as strong analytical skills.  A Bachelor's Degree with majore coursework in accounting or a related field is preferred.  Three to five years of progressively responsible accounting and auditing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.  Candidates must also possess experience with public entities and Boards. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and timely at all levels of the organization including managers at each location and senior management regarding audit finds.
